RFDU
The software-controlled Rx/Tx/Antenna Switching Matrix (SoS-SM 5000) automatically connects transceivers and/or receivers with surface and portable antennas across the frequency range of 0.1 to 500 MHz and an optional capability of 0.5 to 6 GHz (LO).
The Rx/Tx Switching Matrix basically consists of a Receive (RXDU) and a Transmit (TXDU) Distribution Unit. The number of inputs and outputs can be freely determined.
The Rx/Tx Switching Matrix is designed for applications on ships ranging from submarines to frigates and corvettes with RF signals of up to 160W CW (TKW peak). The RXDU & TXDU units can be individually, locally, and remotely controlled via Ethernet interface.

TRANSMIT
+ TXDU
The key function of the TXDU is to connect transceivers to antennas. As a secondary function, the system can be connected to auxiliary outputs and inputs.
RECEIVE
+ RXDU
The RXDU distributes RF signals from the receive (Rx) antenna and delivers all inputs to the receivers and to several auxiliary outputs.
