Dr. Gunter Freitag joined Aeromaritime Systembau as Head of Research & Development on January 2023. Responsible for the technical development of hardware and software of the entire product and system portfolio of ASYM.
Gunter has completed a 15-year career as an officer in the German Federal Armed Forces and worked as a helicopter pilot, software engineer in the field of avionics, and bus systems.
He gained valuable experience in the development of software, electronic and mechanical systems in various positions at international and well-known companies. Former stages of his professional career were at Airbus Helicopters, Bosch, Siemens and Rolls-Royce.
He successfully dealt with various methods and procedures in predevelopment to product development. Most recently, at Rolls-Royce, he led the development of an inverter controller for aircraft engines.
Gunter studied electrical engineering in Munich and business administration in Hagen, and did his doctorate in semiconductor technology at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich.
In his spare time he enjoys time with his family and his two children and likes to play ice hockey.
With Jean-Luc George van Eeckhoutte Aeromaritime Systembau announces a new addition to its sales team. He brings in more than 20 years of expertise to his new position and is excited to continue developing new sales perspectives in his position as Senior Sales Manager.
After his professional years in the defence sector, Jean-Luc started his career in the IT and Telecommunication industry.
He has an excellent track record of achievements in various sectors, combining technology, Sales & Business Development. Jean-Luc has professional years in several business fields and gained great experience in companies such as Siemens Space Business in Vienna, Austria and WORK Microwave in the south of Munich, Germany.
Jean-Luc is passionate about computer science, history and reading. He enjoys long walks in the mountains and in the outdoors.
